Virtual Hatchery Videos

The Virtual Hatchery program consists of four short video clips that capture how chicks hatch, grow and change within their first few days in the big wide world. Each segment shows footage of the chicks in their hatchery and features supportive classroom activities for teachers and students to gain a deeper understanding of the program's themes and relevance to key learning areas. Teachers are encouraged to present the segments in a numbered sequence to best teach students about life cycles and show how the chicks change and develop over time.

A  complimentary activity guide for students, teachers and families detailing teaching and learning activities that link to the virtual hatchery content to relevant curriculum outcomes for primary school students up to and including Year 3.
