STEPS BEFORE ENTRY TO A FARM BIOSECURITY ZONE

  1. Get farm management consent prior to entry
  2. Report straight to the office and sign in to visitor logbook
  3. Do not travel on if you:
    1. Have visited another poultry site in the past 72 hours
    2. Have suffered gastroenteritis symptoms in the past 7 days
    3. Own poultry or pet birds
  4. It is important that you wash wheels and wheel wells of vehicles on entry AND exit
  5. You need to be wearing clean clothing, protective coveralls and boot covers
  6. Use foot-baths as you enter any production area
  7. Only visit necessary areas, and don't handle anything unnecessarily
