Lesson 2: The Needs and Features of Animals

Students will learn about the features and classification of Aves and observe the characteristics of chickens that identify them as part of this group. Students will consider how the needs of chickens on an egg farm are met by producers and the way that these needs change throughout the stages of the chicken life cycle.
