Korean Sauna Eggs

Korean Sauna Eggs

These eggs are named so because they’re served as a snack at Korean saunas. Sprinkle with a little salt and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • Pinch salt, to serve

Method

  • Place the eggs in a steamer basket inside a pressure cooker. Add water so the line is below the eggs e.g. no water is touching the eggs.
  • Place the lid on the pressure cooker and cook for 3 ½ hours. Once it’s finished cooking, release the pressure, then remove the eggs and cool. If you want to eat them quickly you can place them in an ice-bath to cool faster.
  • Peel and slice in half. Sprinkle a little salt onto each half and enjoy.
