Egg Farmers of Australia
Egg Farmers of Australia
Egg Farmers of Australia (EFA) is the national representative body for eggs and the voice of Australian egg farmers.
EFA was formalised in 2016 when the state organisations Queensland United Egg Producers, NSW Farmers Federation Egg Committee, Victorian Farmers Federation Egg Committee, Commercial Egg Producers Association of Western Australia, Commercial Egg Farmers Association South Australia and Tasmania decided to make the move from an association to a national representative body for commercial egg producers.
The EFA’s core value is to be committed to openness and transparency in its core responsibilities of promoting and ensuring the sustainability of the Australian egg industry. It is funded by membership and voluntary levy payments that contribute to the operational costs of the organisation.
