This project will investigate the role of eggs in post-exercise recovery, building on research that suggests whole eggs may support muscle repair more effectively than egg whites alone. It will assess the potential benefits of whole egg consumption following exercise and explore whether these findings can be replicated in a larger and more diverse Australian population.
The results will help strengthen the evidence base for eggs as a whole food recovery option and support dietary recommendations that encourage nutritious, minimally processed foods.
